How to Play
In Checkers for Two, each player starts with an equal set of pieces placed on opposite dark-colored squares of the board. Players alternate turns, moving one piece diagonally forward to an adjacent square if it’s empty. If an opponent’s piece is adjacent and there's an empty square beyond it, you may “jump” over and capture that piece—removing it from the board. When one of your pieces reaches the far side, it becomes a "king," allowing it to move both forward and backward. The game ends when one player has no legal moves left or no pieces remain.
